The Comedy of Errors
April 15 to May 2, 2021
Hilberry Theatre
Written by William Shakespeare
✅  Available as part of a subscription package.

Identical twin boys and — believe it or not — their identical twin servants, are separated at birth during a tragic shipwreck. Twenty-three years later, their father, along with the son he saved, Antipholus, and his son’s servant, Dromio, arrive in a new country in an ongoing search for the lost brothers. Meanwhile, Antipholus’s twin, who is also named Antipholus, has also arrived with his own servant, Dromio, who too shares a name with his own lost twin. Comedy and chaos reign as mistaken identities rock everyone in town and leave its population questioning their sanity. Trade logic for laughter as Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors comes to life at the Hilberry.
